Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

The teams across our organization use Wrike in many different ways. For my team in particular, we use it to collect requests from our different teams via forms, prioritize it into our weekly sprints and then to manage our day to day workloads. We then use Wrike reporting to help us understand our overall productivity.

Pros

  • Customizable - you can configure the tool to meet your own needs.
  • Reporting - really straight forward to put together reports
  • Collaborative - makes it very easy for teams to stay in sync

Cons

  • Sprint format did not work out of the box
  • Expensive
  • Improved efficiency
  • Improved collaboration
  • Time savings
We have not used these and I was not aware of them.
It's a generally intuitive product to get set up with and use. You can create some really complex workflows if that's what is required but they do a great job of UX to not have these options overwhelm users who are just getting started.
Wrike has a much deeper feature set than Trello, though does cost significantly more. Azure Devops is better suited to developer workflows out of the box but overall, I would be inclined to use Wrike due to the simpler UX/UI.

Do you think Wrike delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Wrike's feature set?

Yes

Did Wrike live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Wrike go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Wrike again?

Yes

Wrike works really well in an enterprise environment. It ticks all the boxes for security and compliance and their account management team are fantastic for supporting both initial set up and ongoing support. It's a fantastic tool for use with both external and internal stakeholders for gathering work requirements. Due to it's cost / seat, I would struggle to recommend this for smaller businesses, especially when compared to the free tools out there. Wrike could be used by development teams but it's likely not worth it given the amount of customization that would be required to follow a normal sprint process.
